Teladoc® Telehealth
Care options when your PCP is not available
Your primary care provider (PCP) knows you best. Call your PCP first when you can. Your PCP can help with checkups, follow-up care, medicine questions and ongoing health needs.
Sometimes you need care after hours, or your PCP may not be open. Urgent care and Teladoc are covered options that may help with many non-emergency health needs. Teladoc may also help when urgent care is closed or hard to get to. Neither Teladoc nor urgent care can replace your PCP. Teladoc visits are private and secure.
Teladoc may be an option for adults. Adults can talk with a doctor or nurse practitioner by phone or video. Teladoc is open 24/7. The average wait time is under 15 minutes. Teladoc can help with colds, flu, sinus problems, stomach issues, and minor aches and pains. You can also ask health questions or get help with medicine refills.
